Participation on these blogs and online forum is encouraged and we look forward to hearing from you. To promote respectful discussion within them, we request that all users be courteous and avoid comments that are offensive, explicit, inappropriate, profane or otherwise objectionable. Kindly respect others’ opinions and viewpoints, and contribute only productive, appropriate content. All posts are subject to moderation.
The Ontario College of Teachers (“The College”) reviews all comments and content before they are posted. The College reserves the right to edit them to preserve readability for other users. We further reserve the right to reject or remove content for any reason, including but not limited to, our belief that the comments or content violate this policy. Any submissions that fail to meet these requirements or are otherwise irrelevant may not be posted or may be removed.
Moderation occurs Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Posts made outside these hours will be reviewed the next business day.
We also reserve the right to amend the terms of this policy without notice to address issues that may arise.
In posting material to these blogs and online forum, you agree not to:
- Post material that The College deems threatening, harassing, illegal, obscene, defamatory, slanderous or hostile towards an individual or entity.
- Post material that infringes on the rights of The College or any individual or entity, including privacy, intellectual property or publication rights.
- Post material that promotes or advertises a commercial product or solicits business or membership or financial or other support in any business, group or organization.
- Post chain letters, post the same comment multiple times, or otherwise distribute spam via The College’s channels.
- Allow any other individual or entity to use your identification to post or view comments.
- Post comments under multiple names or using another person’s name.
The College reserves the right to do any or all of the following:
- Block future posts from people who violate this policy.
- Remove or edit comments at any time.
By posting a comment or material of any kind on these blogs and online forum, the user agrees to the terms of this policy.
